Nothing gets you to the bottom of Maslow’s triangle quicker than waking up to a power outage. Thankfully, our friends at @PGE4Me got it all back online by 11am, but now I know that my various UPS devices only go for about 3 hours.

Credit to @PGE4Me in the last year our apartment never lost power. Not in the wildfire smoke. Not in the winter ice storm. Not in the heatwave that melted streetcar cables. Not even when a transformer blew up outside our window. But today, 80 and sunny, we lose power. #naptime

@PGE4Me absolutely ridiculous. Pg&e has now cancelled 2 appointments to transfer power to our house with no 0 heads up, no explanation, and no rescheduling. How and why do we keep putting up with them as Californians. Thanks for burning our state down, pg&e. Great job.
